KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Kenosha-based construction company is inviting young entrepreneurs to raise money for charity through a new community program.
Chris Meier and Franz Lehner of Riley Construction joined us Wednesday, March 11 to talk about the company’s Good Stand Project. The program encourages kids ages 5 to 18 to set up lemonade stands this summer and donate the proceeds to a charity of their choice.
Riley Construction will also match money raised through the stands.
The program opened March 9 and will accept participants through May 3. Organizers say the effort aims to teach entrepreneurship while helping young people give back to their communities.
