MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The ribbons are cut at a new waterfront park located in a former industrial area undergoing a major transformation.
Harbor View Plaza is located on the east end of Greenfield Avenue next to the UWM School of Freshwater Sciences.
It features a look-out tower built from a shipping container, artwork showcasing fish, ships from the area's past and present, and a play area with shallow pools and a canoe/kayak launch.
Rockwell Automation provided a major source of fundraising for the project.
