Reward offered for information on falcon shooting

WEST ALLIS - A reward is on the table for information about the shooting of an endangered bird.
Her name is Madame X and nested at the We Energies Milwaukee County Power Plant.
Last year, she was the first female peregrine falcon to produce three young at the site.

But now, the chance of her doing that again is slim.
Madame X is recovering from severe injuries after she was shot.
She was found on February 27 outside the Cocktails and Dreams Tavern at 55th and Grant in West Allis.
The owners took her to the Wisconsin Humane Society's Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
There, CBS 58 was shown the falcon's X-rays, which detail seven shotgun pellets inside her body.
Madame X also has a broken collarbone and will likely never fly again.
\"There's a really good potential for her to become an educational bird and be trained to the glove and actually become an emissary for Peregrin falcons and endangered species,\" said Scott Diehl, the center's wildlife manager.
Officials believe Madame x was shot close to where she was found in West Allis.

There is a $5,000 reward offered by the Humane Society of the united States for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
