WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead after a motorcycle versus car crash on Highway 120 near the Town of Lyons in Walworth County Thursday, Sept. 11. 

In a preliminary investigation, law enforcement determined that a car holding two people, a 17-year-old male driver and his passenger a 18-year-old female, left the Emagine Theater parking lot to go south on Highway 120 when a collision with a motorcyclist going north on the highway occurred. 

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by the Walworth County Medical Examiner's Office.

The two occupants of the car sustained injuries. The 17-year-old was treated and released at the scene while the 18-year-old was transported to a local hospital. 

The Walworth County Sherriff's Office is investigating the crash.
