Results of Referendums on the Ballot

Here are the Referendums that are on the Ballot on Tuesday.

YES Dodge  County Watertown Shall the City approve an addition/renovation of the Watertown Public Library at a total cost not to exceed $7.3 million with the City providing up to 60% ($4.385 million) of the cost?

YES Jefferson County Hebron Town  Shall the person holding the office of town clerk and the person holding the office of town treasurer be appointed by the town board?
NO Sheboygan County Wilson Town Shall the Town be authorized to impose a new fee or charge, on an ongoing basis, to pay for garbage collection services without reducing its tax levy limit?
YES Walworth County Burlington Should the City construct a community pool facility at Devor Park, 94 Amanda Street, funded by taxes with the following conditions: (1) Spending and/or borrowing on the faciliity is not to exceed $5.4 million and; (2) the facility will be built within the corporate limits of the City.
YES Waukesha County Delafield

Shall the City adopt the following resolution?                        

Whereas the Supreme Court's decisions in Citizens United v. Federal Elections Commission and related case law allows unlimited political campaign spending to influence local, state and federal elections; now, therefore, be it Resolved, that "We the People" of the City of Delafield, Wisconsin, seek to reclaim democracy from the expansion of corporate personhood rights and the corrupting influence of unregulated political contributions and spending. We stand with the Move to Amend campaign and communties across the country to support passage of an amendment to the US Constitution stating:                                      

 1.Only human beings - not corporations, unions, non-profits or similar associations - are entitled to constitutional rights, and          2. Money is not speech, and therefore regulating political contributions and spending is not equivalent to limiting political speech.  Be it further resolved, that the City of Delafield is directed to forward a copy of the resolution to our state and federal representatives with instructions to enact resolutions and legislation toadvance this effort.                                              

NO Milwaukee County St. Francis Shall Charter Ordinance "A Charter Ordinance to define the role of Mayor as Chief Executive Officer and to establish the office of City Adminstrator" as enacted by the Common Council be placed into effect?

Result School District Referendum
YES Cudahy  Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $7.9 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of remodeling, renovating and improving school buildings and grounds; and acquiring equipment, furnishings and fixtures?
YES Franklin Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $43.3 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of constructing a new middle school on District land; tearing down Forest Park Middle School; site improvements; and acquisition of equipment, furnishings and fixtures?
YES Beaver Dam  Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $48.9 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school building and improvement program consisting of: additions, remodeling, renovations and site improvements at the High School campus; safety and security improvements at District school buildings; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
NO Hustisford  Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $5.59 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school improvement program at District facilities and grounds consisting of remodeling and renovation for safety, security, accessibility and modernization; additions for classrooms and a new gymnasium at John Hustis Elementary School; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
YES Oconomowoc Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $54.9 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a district-wide building and improvement project consisting of: construction and equipping of a new Meadow View elementary school and possible land acquisition for the school building site and related site improvements and, if necessary, the removal of the current Meadow View Elementary School; additions and renovations at Ixonia Elementary School; security improvements and renovations at the Main High School campus; renovations for instructional spaces and District offices at the High School East Campus; and capital replacements and improvements at Greenland Elementary School and Park Lawn Elementary School?
YES Waupun Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $36 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a district- wide facilities program to improve educational environments and to address aging infrastructure, safety, security and accessibility at the district's existing buildings an sites through construction, additions, renovations and the purchase of equipment and furnishings?
YES Elkhorn Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $22.9 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school building and improvement program consisting of: acquisition of approximately 56 acres of land located east of the high school and west of Highway 12 for site improvements and the creation of and improvements to outdoor athletic facilities for school and community use; related site improvements at the high school and middle school including the construction of new agricultural greenhouse facilities, remodeling and renovation of the auditorium, academic and gymnasium spaces and construction of a new multi-use athletic center; renovation of unfinished areas of the 1887 building; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
TOO CLOSE Elkhorn Shall the District be authorized to exceed the revenue limit for the 2018-2019 school year and thereafter by $300,000 for recurring purposes consisting of operational, maintenance, staffing and equipment costs for District facilities?
YES Woods Elementary-Geneva Jt. 4  Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $4.6 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school improvement project consisting of constructing additons to and remodeling and renovations at the District building, including a gymnasium, classrooms and learning space, safety and security improvements, kitchen/cafeteria improvements and HVAC upgrades; site improvements; and acquisition of related equipment, furnihings and fixtures?
YES Whitewater Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $23.5 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school building and improvement project consisting of district-wide building renovation and remodeling of instuctional spaces, safety improvements including secured school entrances, and ADA compliance updates; construction of a new gymnasium/multipurpose room and instructional spaces at Lincoln Elementary (LINCS) and expanded physical education facility at the high school; and district-wide building infrastructure upgrades including related furnishings and fixtures, and site improvements?
YES Germantown Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $84 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a district-wide school building and improvement project consisting of addtions for cafeteria and student commons space at the elementary schools, for classrooms at the middle school and for classrooms, a field house, a performing arts center, a swimming pool, a secure main entrance and administrative offices at the high school; district-wide renovations, remodeling and capital maintenance improvements; and acquisition of related furnishings and equipment?
YES Kewaskum Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $28.420 million for the public purpose of paying for the cost of site improvements, new construction, renovation and modernization of Kewaskum Middle School and Kewaskum High School and acquiring furnishings, fixtures and equipment related to same?
NO Arrowhead Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $64.7 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a campus-wide school building and improvement program consisting of: renovations to instructional areas, classrooms, special education, and design, engineering and manufacturing aeas; site and storm water management improvements; security, life safety and building infrastructure updates; constructing and equipping a fine arts auditorium, a replacement swimming pool, storage areas and a new science lab as additions to the existing school buildings; and acquistion of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
NO Arrowhead Shall the District be authorized to exceed the revenue limit for the 2018-2019 school year and thereafter by $173,000 for recurring purposes to support the annual operating costs associated with the fine arts auditorium and replaceement swimming pool additions?
YES Ft. Atkinson Shall the District be authorized to exceed the revenue limit beginning with the 2017-2018 school year by amounts not to exceed $1.75 million each year (on a recurring basis) and $2.25 million each year (on a non-recurring basis for a period of three years) for the purpose of paying District operating costs in support of delivering the quality opportunities and services each student needs to achieve his or her academic and personal potential as provided in the foregoing resolution?
YES Sheboygan Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $29 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a District-wide school improvement program consisting of addtions, remodeling and renovations; safety and security improvements; building infrastructure updates including HVAC, boiler, roof and window replacements; constructing a new gymnasium at Wilson Elementary School; site improvements; and acquisition of furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
TOO CLOSE Howards Grove Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $4.7 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school building and improvement program consisting of construction of an auditorium, captial improvement projects at District buildings and grounds, and acquisitionof furnishings, fixtures and equipment?
YES Sheboygan Falls Shall the District be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $30.9 million for the public purpose of paying the cost of constructing a new middle school and associated site improvements; taking down the exisiting middle school and repurposing the site to green space; District-wide capital replacement projects; and acquiring equipment, furnishings and fixtures?
