Residents of Walworth are frustrated with police

Several residents of the Latino community in Walworth County say they feel intimidated, just because they are Hispanic.

 

Residents say the police are only stopping them because they have no driver's license.

 

Dozens of people from the town of Walworth say they can not cope with the amount of fines received for driving without a license. They understand it is illegal but the cops in that city are abusing their position.

 

The Walworth police chief spoke defended his officers and said they are enforcing is the law and no one can drive without a license.

 

A meeting with the chief of police was held Sunday August 17 at 5 pm at Walworth Elementary School.
