Resident Upset Over Police Response Time

Milwaukee--Ken Turner lives in the 2300 block of 51st street in Milwaukee.

Saturday night around 2:30 am, his home alarms went off. After checking the the home, his family went back to sleep.

The next day, running late for mass, the family noticed a bullet had pierced the side of the home and damaged some furniture.

After returning from church around 1:30 pm Sunday, Turner called police.

But Turner says police didn't show up until around 8pm that night.

That response time is not adequate for Turner.

Meantime, Milwaukee police says that since the incident happened the night before, and was not a fluid situation, and that there was no immediate danger, an officer was not immediately sent over.

But that's not good enough for Turner, who claims he didn't know weather there existed an imminent danger to him or his family, and that police should have responded quicker.
