Report: Packers sign Crosby to four year contract

Just hours after the franchise tag deadline passed, the Green Bay Packers used a different method to make sure Mason Crosby would stay in town - a reported four year contract that makes Crosby the third highest paid kicker in the league based on average annual salary.

Crosby will reportedly receive $16.1 million in the new deal, including a $5 million signing bonus.

Crosby is the leading scorer in Packers franchise history, and he has the postseason record of 20 consecutive field goals. Crosby was drafted by the Packers in 2007.
