Report: Fentanyl is top killer of Wisconsinites ages 25-54

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- A Wisconsin research group reports fentanyl is the top killer of people in the state between the ages of 25 and 54.

The director of Forward Analytics says educating people is the best way to reverse the uptick. 

The drug is often called different names. 

Although deaths have gone down since 2020, experts say recent drug shortages could lead to sketchy medication sources.
