Report: Aaron Rodgers goes through surgery on broken collarbone

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Aaron Rodgers is one step closer to making his return to action. The Packers 10-years starter has reportedly undergone surgery to repair an injury in his right (throwing arm) collarbone.

The rehabilitation process now begins for the six-time Pro Bowler. The Packers said there's a chance Rodgers will miss the remainder of the season as he recovers from the injury. Rodgers suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings after taking a hit from linebacker Anthony Barr.

The Packers will begin their lives without Rodgers on Sunday when they face the New Orleans Saints in Green Bay. Brett Hundley will make his first career NFL start with Rodgers out.
