Renowned sportscaster to deliver 2023 Axthelm Lecture at Marquette University

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Acclaimed play-by-play announcer Adam Amin is set to deliver the 2023 Axthelm Memorial Lecture at Marquette University's Diederich College of Communication on April 3 at 4 p.m. The lecture will take place in Sensenbrenner Hall.

Amin, a FOX Sports announcer since 2020, has covered NFL, MLB and college basketball telecasts. He also serves as the primary television voice for the NBA's Chicago Bulls on NBC Sports Chicago.

He received the 2021 Illinois Sportscaster of the Year award from the National Sports Media Association.

Before joining FOX Sports, Amin spent nine years at ESPN, where he contributed to coverage of college football, Women's Final Four, and NBA playoffs. A Valparaiso University alumnus, Amin has been honored as an Outstanding Young Alumnus and twice named Indiana Collegiate Sportscaster of the Year.

Established in 1994, the Pete and Bonnie Axthelm Memorial Program annually awards a scholarship to a journalism student with a passion for sports journalism and hosts a lecture featuring an industry professional.
