Registration open for Racing Sausages Run and Walk at Miller Park
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Registration is now open for the Brewers Community Foundation’s 21st annual 5K Famous Racing Sausages Run and Walk. The race starts at 8 a.m. at Miller Park on Saturday, July 27, and takes runners and walkers on a 3.1-mile course with the Johnsonville Famous Racing Sausages.
Registration for the event costs $30 from now until May 4 and then $35 from May 5 until the end of registration on July 24. All runners and walkers will get an Italian Sausage-themed shirt and a voucher for a Terrace Reserved ticket to a select 2019 Brewers home game.
The course includes an opportunity to go onto the Miller Park warning track. There will be complimentary food and drinks at a tailgate party after the race is over including Miller Lite for those old enough to drink.
