Summer Gallery Night MKE returns this weekend with 50+ art venues
GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Greendale Community Theatre, best known for its regional premieres of popular stage productions, is hosting the regional premiere of "The Prom."
Olivia Lewandowski, one of the lead actresses and director Ami Majeskie both joined us on Tuesday, Aug. 1 to discuss more details about the production.
With showings set for Thursday, Aug. 3 through Saturday, Aug. 5, the storyline of "The Prom" unfolds around a controversial prom in small-town Indiana. The drama escalates as four fading Broadway stars leverage the media hype to reclaim the limelight while supporting the student who wants to bring her girlfriend to the prom.
Staged in the Reiman Family Arts Wing of Greendale High School, performances start at 7 p.m. with the Aug. 5 show starting at 4 p.m.
Admission costs $18 for adults and $15 for students and seniors, available for purchase online at greendaletheatre.org or at GCT’s Box Office, opening one hour prior to each show.
