Regal and West Bend Cookware factory outlet reopens after 18-year hiatus

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Regal Ware is reopening its factory outlet store after 18 years. It was more than 20 years ago that the cookware company acquired West Bend Cookware.

It allowed the two companies to stay local and continue to make products right here in Wisconsin.

The cookware is still hot off the assembly line many times as it becomes available for people to buy at a discounted price compared to buying in the store.

The factory has been in West Bend for over 80 years, but many might not realize just how much manufacturing they do locally. Not only are they making Regal Ware products, but they also make and ship cookware for a dozen other companies as well.

Regal Ware's factory outlet is open Wednesday through Saturday. You can also visit the museum that features generations of Regal and West Bend cookware that people have donated.
