GLENDALE (CBS 58)--With Thursday being National Root Beer Float Day, you just know Sprecher Brewing Company has to be involved. And it is! How about 50-thousand of these floats for free?? The Glendale brewery is handing them out via a drive-thru set up with eight different stations and maybe more if needed. This event is so big, the Guinness Book of World Records is even aware of what's happening.
Again, the (world's largest) root beer float drive-thru is set for this Thursday at Sprecher Brewing Company in Glendale. It'll be between noon and 8 pm. The address is 701 W. Glendale Avenue. It's free but donations are encouraged. All the info for the event is right here.
