The Milwaukee area has a brand new rescue squad that’s an awful lot like the popular children’s television program Paw Patrol.
Lutheran Charity Services comfort dog program recently expanded into Wisconsin. The organization trains and deploys comfort dogs to areas impacted by tragedy or disaster. The dogs, all golden retrievers have responded to some of the nation’s most serious disasters including wildfires in California, hurricanes in Florida as well as numerous mass shootings.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Brendan Cullerton met some of the team.
