Rainbow Pride Flag to fly over Wisconsin state capitol

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Rainbow Pride Flag will begin to fly over the Wisconsin state capitol on Friday, June 5.

Governor Tony Evers ordered the Rainbow Pride Flag shall be flown over the East Wing of the State Capitol Building, beginning on Friday, June 5, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. and ending at sunset on June 30, 2020.

Additionally, the order authorizes state buildings and any jurisdiction within the State of Wisconsin to fly the Rainbow Pride Flag during the month of June 2020, for the purposes of recognizing Pride Month.
