Happy Valentine's Day! It's a nice start to the day with some sunshine! Clouds will increase during the morning on Tuesday but still dry for your lunch dates. A few rain showers will start rolling in during the early afternoon so the kids heading home from school might have to dodge a few raindrops.
Steady rain will be expected for dinner time and your evening Valentine's dates. Most of the rain is light to moderate but it probably comes down fairly steady for at least a few hours.
It's another soaking rain for February standards but not a ton of rain with most of southeast Wisconsin getting between 0.10-0.30" of rain.
A few lingering showers will be possible Tuesday night and early Wednesday but most are done with the rain by midnight. The rest of Wednesday and Wednesday night are dry but snow arrives during the morning on Thursday and lasts through the late evening. It now looks like all of southeast Wisconsin will see just snow instead of a rain/snow mix. Still too early to talk numbers as weather models have just gotten on the all snow trend but southeast Wisconsin looks to be in the bullseye for accumulating and plowable snow.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain for Tuesday and snow for later in the week.
