It's nice to have a dry day in between systems, but clouds have been stubborn today, especially lakeside. Our dry weather will continue for the rest of the afternoon, but rain to the west will move in between 8-10 pm.
Precipitation initially moves in as rain, but will change over to wet snow after midnight for folks along and north of I-94. Areas south of I-94 may see some wet snow mix in after midnight, but any mix will change back to rain after an hour or two.
Wet snow gradually changes to rain from south to north by early Monday morning, however folks in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan may continue to see wet snow until 7-9 am. Rain and wet snow will taper off by midday with dry weather expected during the afternoon.
1 to 3" of slushy snow is expected on the grass north of I-94, with a brief coating to 1" for areas south of I-94.
Some lower visibility will be possible north of the Milwaukee metro during the Monday morning commute, and there may be a few slushy spots on roads far north, otherwise roads will primarily be wet during the morning commute.
After drying out Monday afternoon through Tuesday, rain showers move back in Tuesday night and continue off and on Wednesday.
