Most of this week has been dry and cool with some sunshine. Temperatures started to warm on Thursday with highs reaching the low 60s. We still see 60s on Friday but we will battle a lake breeze so while highs lakeside hit 60 inland communities have a better chance of seeing those middle 60s. Friday is still expected to be dry but there are rain chances all around us. The one that could potential impact southern counties is down in Illinois and may get right up to the Wisconsin border.
The better rain chance arrives during the morning hours on Saturday with scattered rain showers likely in the morning through early afternoon. Some weather models bring in drier air for the late afternoon and evening hours before rain and some snow return going into Sunday.
The chance for rain and snow showers on Sunday and Monday is increasing. In fact temperatures and timing might be just right for a touch of accumulating snow. Nothing crazy but a dusting of snow or graupel or maybe even a tenth or two is a possibility.
Most of the accumulating precipitation is rain with 0.25-0.50" for most but some areas getting 0.75".
