Railroad investigator visits troubled Kenosha County train crossing

PLEASANT PRAIRIE-CBS 58 News was there Monday as a railroad commissioner visit a crossing along Highway H at 88th where there have been several crashes recently.

This track has been here since 2003. Since then, there have been 3 accidents, one in 2006 and two this summer.

 

\"When the track was put in we looked at lights, but we didn't think it warranted,\" investigator  Tom Clauder told CBS 58's Lila Carrera.

Jeff Plale, a railroad commissioner was also on scene while the investigators surveyed the area.

\"There are a lot of parties involved,\" Plale explained, \"and all of us have the same goal and that's to make sure no one crashes here again.\"
