Racine Zoo welcomes two new kangaroos, joey from Los Angeles Zoo

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo is excited to announce that two western grey kangaroos, Josie and Julia, have been added to the Walkabout Creek exhibit.

In addition, visitors to the zoo may also see Julia's joey who is now 9-months-old and spending some time outside of mom's pouch.

Josie and Julia came to the Racine Zoo from the Los Angeles Zoo.

The Racine Zoo was contacted by the Species Survival Plan -a national program that helps ensure the survival of selected species who are threatened or endangered in the wild - about housing Josie and Julia.
