RACINE, Wis (CBS 58) -- Beth Heidorn, Executive Director of the Racine Zoo, previewed several upcoming events taking place at the zoo when she joined us on Monday, Aug. 26.
Jack-O'-Lantern Nights returns from Sept. 26 to Nov. 3, 2024. Visitors can stroll through the zoo from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays, viewing over 1,000 intricately carved pumpkins. Admission is $10 per person.
The zoo is also accepting applications for its "Volunteen" and Adult Volunteer programs. Fall applications are due by Oct. 1.
On Wednesday, Aug. 28, the zoo will host the World Roar Wine Pour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring wine tastings and animal encounters. Tickets are $35.
Zoo Debut: Enchanted Forest, a black-tie fundraising gala, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
