Racine Zoo asking for donations of chalk, plastic summer toys for orangutans

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo wants you to think about donating summer toys instead of throwing them away. 

The Zoo's orangutans, Jenny and Max, love playing with plastic beach toys, kiddie pools, and chalk. 

The Zoo says Jenny uses the chalk to color the exhibit glass and Max will grind the chalk into powder. 

The toys and/or chalk can be brought to the Zoo and the staffers will make sure the donations go to the orangutans.
