RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine family's desperate for answers, after a 46-year-old mother of two vanished the day before her birthday. It's been three weeks since anyone's seen Lasheky (la-sheeky) Hill.

"She got family that love her and this community too small for nobody not to know nothing and her to just vanish," said Georgia Hill, Lasheky's mom.

The last three weeks have been anxious ones for the family of Lasheky Hill.

"But that's my child, my child and this is killing me, tearing me apart," said Hill.

Mom last saw her March 25, the day before Lasheky's 46th birthday.

"She left here about 11:00 because it began to snow and she said well let me go before it start snowing and she took her plate of food and she left, never seen my daughter no more," said Hill.

Family and police now trying to piece together what they know about her last steps.

The night before her birthday, family say Lasheky stopped at an apartment here along Douglas Avenue close to where this liquor store now has her missing person flier on the door.

When Lasheky's birthday came and went and no one in the family heard from her, her mother instantly knew something was wrong.

"Nothing was moving. Her Facebook wasn't moving. She had money on her Cash App and that's unusual, she'd took it off. Now out of all things she would have called her son on her birthday," said Hill.

Lasheky Hill's a mom of two, and grandma to three and planned to spend part of her special day with them.

"But she kept on saying you know for her birthday she gonna come kick it with us and then you know go have her fun or whatever," said Raymond Massie, Lasheky's son.

Police interviewed one man who said he was with her when she left in a car with another man, but family say surveillance shows she never left. Lasheky was last seen with a black purse with gold rhinestones on it and wearing a long, blond wig.

"She'd give the shirt off her back. She did anything for you. She was a loving, kind person. Like of the 45 years I would never think I would never you know hear her voice like this again, like it's been very, very tough," said Antwone Green, Lasheky's cousin.
