Racine Police investigating drowning death of 42-year-old man

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Police Department is currently investigating the drowning death of a 42-year-old man.

Racine Police were called to the Fifth Street Yacht Club, located at 761 Marquette Street, for a report of a body in the water around 11:41 a.m. on Sunday.

The victim's father had called the police the night prior for a welfare check because the victim had left the Yacht Club and was supposed to go to a boat dock on the river but never showed up.

The victim has been identified as a 42-year-old man.

At this time, Racine Police do not expect foul play.
