Racine Police investigating after receiving call for two children hit by a car

The Racine Police Department is investigating after receiving a call that two children were hit by a car.

The incident happened near Geneva Street and Hamilton Street in Racine, shortly after 9:00 PM.

According to police, the two children apparently darted out into traffic and were hit by a passing car. The car didn't immediately stop, but the driver was located a short distance away.

The children only received minor injuries.

Police have not said whether or not they will be cited.
