RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine Police are identifying the man wanted in connection to an officer-involved shooting as 20-year-old Hunter Hanson.
Authorities say the shooting happened on December 20. Police say they were looking for a wanted man in the area of 16th and Boyd just before 8:30 p.m. The officer who responded to the scene was getting out of his squad car when the suspect got into his car and started driving towards the officer. That's when the officer shot at the car and the man drove off. The officer was not hurt during the shooting.
Police say Hanson is armed and dangerous and should not be approached. He may be driving a 1998 green/blue Chevy K 1500 pickup truck.
Anyone with information on Hanson's whereabouts is asked to contact Racine Police.
