The Ice Xperience

A new attraction is coming to town this winter that will transport you to a world created with crystal clear ice. Expect music and beer too. The Art Below Zero team is creating The Ice Xperience off I-94 in Yorkville. They reveal what they’re carving up to create moments you won’t forget. They also show us how much work goes into designing and sculpting each piece of ice art.

Conservation Nation

The Racine Zoo has a challenge for you: Learn about the issues facing our planet and start helping. In our monthly update with the zoo, we get an inside look at Conservation Nation and the lessons families are learning together.

Lil’ Explorers -  Dancing Dragons

The Racine Zoo becomes a classroom during Lil’ Explorers Preschool. We check out the fun new session ahead for the kiddos—Dancing Dragons. We also find out how the new Lantern Festival at the zoo is connected to the upcoming lessons.

Angel Gowns

In the midst of Infant Loss Awareness Month, we shine the spotlight on volunteers in Racine who are providing a unique gift for grieving parents. They make burial outfits for babies who have passed away. See the heart and soul that goes into making Angel Gowns.
