RACINE, Wis (CBS 58) -- Kelly Scroggins from Racine Women for Racial Justice joined CBS 58 in the studio for Racine & Me.
Scroggins talked about the start of her organization and the goals they have in the community.
They hope to empower Racine women to advance social justice and interrupt racism.
Scroggins says they also provide a number of education and trainings to those who would like to participate. They also have a justice initiative committee as well as engagement and volunteer opportunities.
They have a big event coming up this fall. On September 22, 2022 they will host their 1st Annual Gala.
