Racine & Me: Paths to Healing Retreat & Conference

RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Paths to Healing Survivor Retreat & Conference is a transformational weekend dedicated to hope, healing, and connection for survivors of all forms of trauma. While the emphasis is on sexual violence, we also welcome survivors of domestic abuse, childhood trauma, trafficking, emotional abuse, mental health challenges, and more. Grounded in the theme RELAX. RESTORE. REFLECT., this 3-day experience is intentionally designed to meet survivors where they are and support them on their path forward.

Weekend Highlights Include:

-15+ transformative workshops led by survivors, advocates, and healing professionals.

-Wellness activities throughout the weekend: sound bath meditation, Reiki, yoga, and expressive arts

-Saturday night dance party – because music moves us, and joy is healing.

-A sacred In Remembrance and Honor Ceremony on Sunday – holding space for those lost to trauma, violence, suicide, and mental health struggles.

Registration is $100 for all 3 days and includes meals, healing spaces, and activities Registration Deadline: Sunday, June 15, 2025 Register here: https://forms.gle/DJRVC7z2yuJJ1rWHA

Together, our fiscal agent, workshop presenters, and sponsors make this retreat possible— helping create a space where every survivor feels seen, heard, and supported. One of the standout features of the weekend is the Reflections of Hope: Photovoice Project—a visual storytelling exhibit created by survivors. Thanks to a generous ArtSeed grant, this powerful installation uses photography to amplify lived experiences, spark community dialogue, and advocate for healing through art. It’s advocacy through imagery—real, raw, and restorative. We also believe that healing should never come at a cost. If the $100 registration fee presents a challenge, financial assistance is available through a generous grant. Survivors in need of support are encouraged to apply—no one will be turned away due to financial hardship. This is your time. This is your space. This is your path to healing. Join us. Let’s relax, restore, and reflect—together.
