Racine & Me, Oct 22, 2016: The Taylor Home, John XXIII Educational Center, Well-Known Strangers

On this episode of Racine & Me: It stood for years as an orphanage.but a different kind of orphanage than you see in  the movies: the Taylor Home was a place where children were very well loved.

We'll hear about the push to preserve a monument left over from the home and hear from a former resident who wrote a book on his experiences there.

Plus the group "Well-Known Strangers" is back on the show. They'll give us an update on how quickly this band has grown and reached new milestones of success even since the last time they were on the show.

And we'll also hear about the John XXIII Educational Center located in St. Patrick’s church and how it is changing lives of students in Racine County.
