Racine & Me: Movie Theater Upgrades, Holiday Shopping Contest, Racine Mayor on Regional Transportation, Waterford boy donates toys

It’s a whole new movie-going experience. The CEO of Marcus Theater in Racine tells us all about the new upgrades at Sturtevant's Marcus Renaissance Theater, including a new lounge, called “Take 5,” which is open the public even if they don’t buy a movie ticket. They also have an expanded menu featuring Zaffiro’s pizza—and all food and drink can be consumed while you’re watching a movie.

There’s a holiday shopping contest going on in Racine that rewards you for shopping at local businesses this holiday season. The Rely Local Racine app puts you in a drawing for hundreds of dollars in prizes when you scan it at a number of Racine stores.

The Mayor of Racine talks about why he feels the government needs to invest more money in regional transportation.

And we also tell viewers the  story of Waterford boy with a big heart. While getting treatment for a tumor, Vance Wilks decided to find a way to get people to donate toys to kids at Children’s Hospital who were also being treated.
