RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Corsets meet guitars in LIZZIE — a daring rock musical by Steven Cheslik-DeMeyer, Tim Maner, and Alan Stevens Hewitt that flips a well-known story from history into something bold, campy, and unforgettable. Cari Greving from Visit Racine County joins us to discuss LIZZIE The Musical and more! 

At its core, LIZZIE is about four fierce women finding their voice through music, power, and raw emotion. The show serves up:

Since its premiere, LIZZIE has taken the theater world by storm. It won Best Musical at the 2020 Ovation Awards and went on to earn five B. Iden Payne Awards for 2022–2023, among many other honors.
