Racine & Me: Fourth Fest in Racine returns!
RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Cari Greving from Real Racine joined us in studio to talk about all the fun coming up in town, including a huge Independence Day celebration!
Fourth Fest in Racine will have a parade, fireworks and a pre-party on July 3.
Racine's 4th of July parade is like no other! The streets come alive with red, white and blue - we are the Midwest's largest! Parade participants are encouraged to keep with our theme as they parade down Main Street along the 2.6 mile parade route. Spectators will see all their favorites - horses, antique cars, our community's popular Iwo Jima presentation, servicemen and servicewomen, marching bands, colorful floats, dance troupes, school groups, politicians, and other dignitaries -- more than 100 units in all!
The City of Burlington's Fireman's Dance is returning. If you don't have any 4th of July plans. Margarita Fest at the Zoo promises adult fun! The event takes place on Saturday, July 9, 2022 | 1PM – 4PM
You bring a friend, and we'll bring the limes—it's margarita time! Cool off on a hot summer day the right way with a margarita in hand, listening to Johnny Russler & The Beach Bum Band along the beautiful lakefront. Sample the best margaritas Racine has to offer from each participating competitor and vote on your favorite. At the end of the fest, we will reveal the crowd favorite and winner for best presentation. Food and additional drinks will be available for purchase.

Yoga with alpacas will bring something new to your workout!
Have you heard of ‘Goat Yoga’ or ‘Dog Yoga?’ What about Yoga with Alpacas? This one-of-a kind event is returning to Eco-J for the summer months. During these Saturday sessions, led by Chloe Wright, participants will lay their mat on the alpaca pasture and staff will introduce the alpacas. Participants will have a chance to take a selfie with the alpacas, then practice meditation as the alpacas wander around the practice space. Registration is required. You may register here.
