Racine Man Taken by Flight for Life After Motorcycle Accident

On Sunday, November 1 at 4:55 PM officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department were sent to a motorcycle crash in the 700 block of South Fancher Road in the Village of Mount Pleasant, involving a motorized dirt bike. A witness reported that the operator of the motorcycle sustained a head injury and was unconscious.

Upon arrival of paramedics an assessment was made of the injured operator and Flight for Life was contacted. The 53-year-old male motorcycle driver from Racine was not wearing a helmet.

He was air lifted from the scene to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee due to serious injuries. He remains in critical condition.

The Technical Reconstruction Unit from the Wisconsin State Patrol was called to the scene and assisted with this crash investigation.

This cause of this crash remains under investigations by the Mount Pleasant Police Department with the assistance of the WI State Patrol.
