Racine man facing 5 child pornography charges following task force investigation

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Racine man has been arrested on child pornography charges, according to a Friday, June 23 news release from the Racine Police Department.

A search warrant was executed at the residence near Spring St. and Osborne Blvd. for 60-year-old Edward Domenech of Racine. At approximately 2:12 p.m., the ICAC Task Force, General Investigations and the Department of Justice carried out the search warrant.

The warrant, reportedly part of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation, resulted from 110 cyber tips received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children linked to an IP address at the location.

Racine officials report that Domenech admitted to possession and downloading of child pornography over 30 years and faces five counts of child pornography charges.
