Racine County Sheriff's Office participates in podcast drawing attention to 1989 cold case

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine County Sheriff's Office is drawing attention to a 1989 cold case missing persons investigation.

Kerry O'Brien Krueger was reported missing by her husband and parents on Dec. 7, 1989. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Kerry's husband, Tracey Krueger, told police that on the evening of Dec. 5, Kerry received a call asking her to attend a trade show for work the next morning. Tracey told officers the show was out of state, and Kerry left their residence on Dec. 6 for a flight out of Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Kerry's supervisor advised authorities that no trade shows were scheduled for that date, and Kerry was not asked to attend anything at that time.

Officials say Kerry was 31 years old at the time of her disappearance, and left behind a 3-year-old daughter.

At the request of Kerry's family, the Racine County Sheriff's Office participated in a podcast called The Vanished, concerning this case. The episode can be found by clicking here.

Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Kerry O'Brien Krueger is asked to contact Investigator Heather Spranger at 262-636-3367. Those who would like to remain anonymous may contact Crime Stoppers of Racine County at 888-636-9330.
