Racine County Sheriff's Office Identifies Teenager who Died After Crash

Racine County Sheriff's Office identified the teenager who died after the crash on 2 Mile Road on Wednesday.

Taylor Skendziel died last night, June 16th as a result of the injuries she sustained in the accident on June 15th.    

Preliminary investigation indicates the Honda Pilot driven by Samuel Han failed to yield the right of way from a stop sign and collided with the Dodge. The Racine County Sheriff’s Office will work with the Racine County District Attorney’s Office after the accident investigation is complete to determine if criminal charges will be issued as a result of this accident.  

The female passengers in the Dodge Neon were identified as Charlee Warner age 15 and Sadie Regep age 15 both from Racine County.   Warner was transported to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee with serious injuries and Regep was transported to Wheaton All-Saints Hospital in Racine with minor injuries.  

Sadie Regep has been released from the hospital but Charlee Warner remains in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
