Racine County Sheriff's Deputies arrest two on drug charges, recover stolen handgun

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two Illinois men were arrested when authorities stopped a vehicle for multiple traffic violations.

Racine County Sheriff's Deputy pulled over the vehicle around 12:09 p.m. on Thursday.

The deputy's investigation lead to the following items being located and seized from the vehicle and its occupants:

  • 26.2 grams of Heroin (49 individual bags)
  • 6.6 grams of Crack Cocaine (24 individual bags)
  • 5.1 grams of Marijuana (2 individual bags)
  • (1) loaded semi-automatic handgun
  • (1) digital scale
  • (2) cell phones

The handgun was reported stolen out of Kenosha. 

The men face multiple charges including Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession With Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Receiving Stolen Property, and OWI.
