Racine County sheriff: 65-year-old man dies in Waterford home fire

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 65-year-old man died in a fire in the town of Waterford. 

The Racine County Sheriff's Office was called to Prospect Drive, near the Fox River, just before 10:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officials located a home fully engulfed in flames. 

Multiple fire departments were called in to put out the fire. After an extensive extinguishing effort, the 65-year-old homeowner was found dead inside the home. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
