UPDATE: Victim's identity released after SUV collides with dump truck in Racine County

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities have identified the victim as 50-year-old William Rachel of Burlington. 

The crash remains under investigation.

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Thursday, May 31 just after noon the Racine County Sheriff's Office was sent to a two-vehicle crash on County Highway P between State Highway 36/11 and Yahnke Road in Burlington with fatalities.

The crash happened between a Ford Expedition SUV and a dump truck. The investigation showed that the SUV was driving south on Highway P when it crossed the center line. The dump truck driving north tried to avoid the SUV but the two collided.

The driver of the SUV was a Racine County man in his 50s that was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and released.
