RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Community members in Racine came together Thursday evening as part of a peace march.
It's in response to a shooting at North Beach Tuesday night that resulted in three teens and two adults getting shot.
The organizer of the event says she felt like she needed to step up during this time of unrest.
"Places like this should be safe," said organizer Karen Simpson. "We should all feel safe. And I thought, I don't want all of my grandkids or myself to be afraid to come to the park."
The condition of the five victims is unknown at this time.
