CBS 58’s Theater Thursdays: ’Undertone’ and ’Slanted’
(FRANKLIN) - It's not uncommon for Easter Sunday to coincide with the Hebrew holiday of Passover like it does in 2019. After all, both festivals share historical roots and have since become celebrations of renewal and hope, which is why the message of a rabbi from Argentina resonates on this sacred and celebratory weekend.
Rabbi Abraham Skorka is a leader in his home country of Argentina. His friendship with Pope Francis dates back to the 1990's. Skorka says the two bonded over their shared love of Soccer and blossomed from their into a lasting collaboration that’s lasted for decades.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Christine Flores shared this story of an important friendship bridging two faiths.
