Public invited to view plans, give feedback on Lakefront Gateway Project

MILWAUKEE -- The public is invited to an open house Wednesday afternoon to view and give feedback on plans for the Lakefront Gateway Project.
The $34 million project, scheduled to start in 2015, would dramatically change the appearance of the Lake Interchange. Plans include a complete rebuild of the I-794 entrance and exit ramps and reconfiguration of several streets in the area.
The meeting is on the upper level of the Milwaukee Public Market from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
This is one of three public information meetings scheduled throughout the planning process.
