MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- People are invited to weigh in about a juvenile detention center in Milwaukee, Thursday evening.
One of the proposed centers would be built near Teutonia and Mill on the city's north side. It's part of Governor Evers' plan to close Lincoln Hills and Copper Lake youth prisons. Common Council President Ashanti Hamilton and others are not happy about it, saying they weren't consulted before the announcement was made.
The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m., March 14, at MacPyles Corporation, 6737 N. Teutonia Avenue.
