CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Vice President JD Vance stopped in Milwaukee Wednesday to talk about the Trump administration's efforts to combat fraud.
Ahead of the visit, dozens gathered in opposition. Protesters showed up in the heat around 10 a.m. expressing frustration about the "Big, Beautiful Bill," recent ICE activities in the city, and the rising cost of healthcare.
People also voiced concerns over Tom Tiffany's alliance with the Trump administration, with some saying he's not the right choice for Wisconsin.
One protester talked about how the administration's policies are affecting her family.
"I'm seeing caregivers who take care of my paralyzed husband losing their healthcare, that's what I'm seeing happening in my own home," she said.
"The protest was peaceful and drew honks and reactions from cars driving by the intersection.
