Prost! Sprecherfest returns to Bavarian Bierhaus June 10-12 🍻

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Sprecher Brewery and Bavarian Bierhaus are excited to announce the return of a classic German summer festival "Sprecherfest."

From Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12, local breweries will offer a beer-filled festival hosted at the Bavarian Bierhaus Biergarten grounds, located at 700 W. Lexington Boulevard in Glendale.

The festival will include live music, food and a special beer collaboration between the two breweries, bringing back the classic fan favorite Pub Brown Ale. Seven varieties of malted barley are combined to give the English-style ale its complex flavor and deep brown color. A select British yeast culture adds a subtle fruitiness and a blend of choice hops gives this non-bitter ale a soft finish.

Along with the collaboration beer, the festival will also feature the famous Sprecher Root Beer along with craft beer varieties from Bavarian Bierhaus and Sprecher Brewery.

Entertainment for Sprecherfest includes a midway game area for kids, a keg tapping with free beer while supplies last, and live music from the Toys on Friday and The Love Monkeys on Saturday. The biergarten will feature local food along with pig and chicken roast specials.

Admission and hours include:

Friday - $5 (Opens at 4pm)
Saturday $10 (Opens at 11am)
Sunday FREE (Opens at 11 am)
