ProHealth Care's Cancer Walks planned for May 2

ProHealth Care in Oconomowoc, Waukesha and Mukwonago will be hosting a Cancer walk on Saturday, May 2.

The walk helps support specialized cancer services advanced technology and resarch in Waukesha County.

The walks will take place at the Riverwalk in Waukesha, Lakewalk in Oconomowoc and Parkwalk in Mukwonago.

The walks will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Each walk has an ambassador, an individual on their own cancer journey, serving as an inspiration to walkers and the community.

This year the Waukesha and Mukwonago walk ambassadors are both YOUNG moms fighting breast cancer and they share a unique bond. One is patient, Sheila, and one is actually a cancer caregiver, Shelley. Shelley actually at one point gave Sheila chem treatments. Now both are undergoing treatment. And both are serving as ambassadors
