President returning to Laborfest in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE- On Monday, President Obama will return to Milwaukee and Laborfest.

The President last attended Laborfest four years ago.

In his most recent weekly address, the President addressed Labor Day and raising the minimum wage.

He said an increase in the minimum wage will give a boost to working families.

President Obama said that until the country has a Congress that wants to raise worker's wages, it will be up to the country to fight for it.

UW-Milwaukee Political Science Professor Mordecai Lee said that it makes sense the President is coming to Milwaukee on an official visit for Labor Day because of the city's long history of unions and blue collar workers.

\"In Milwaukee, Labor Day is more than a day off,\" Lee said.

CBS 58 will have full coverage of the President's visit to Milwaukee on Monday.
